Ravindra Jadeja Discusses India’s Batting Collapse in Mumbai

Ravindra Jadeja recently discussed India’s sudden batting breakdown in Mumbai, noting that the collapse occurred swiftly, within a span of 10 minutes, making it difficult to fully grasp what was happening. He stressed that assigning blame to individual players is not constructive in a team sport. Instead, he underscored the significance of the remaining batsmen building partnerships to either meet or exceed the score set by New Zealand. Jadeja’s reflections followed a challenging Day 1 for India, which concluded with a score of 86/4, leaving them 149 runs behind New Zealand. This was in spite of Jadeja’s commendable performance earlier in the day, where he secured five wickets.
