Indian Wrestling Team Cleared for World Championships

The Indian wrestling team has received approval from the government to participate in the World Championships following a meeting between the athletes and the Sports Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya. This decision was made after the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) had initially withdrawn the team’s entries due to legal issues and internal conflicts within the federation. After discussions with the minister and the WFI President, the team’s participation was cleared, and they are now set to travel to Albania for the championships.
