Gary Kirsten has stepped down from his role as the white-ball coach for Pakistan, citing differences with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over team selection and other issues. In the wake of his resignation, Jason Gillespie has been named the interim white-ball coach and will lead the team in the forthcoming series against Australia and Zimbabwe. The PCB will make an announcement regarding a permanent head coach for the white-ball team at a later date.
