Bangladesh’s Cricket Team to Play Without Shakib Al Hasan

Bangladesh’s cricket team will be without Shakib Al Hasan for the upcoming ‘farewell Test’ against South Africa, as he has withdrawn from the match citing security concerns. In his absence, left-arm spinner Hasan Murad has been called up to join the squad. The Test is set to be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Shakib, who did not make the trip from Dubai to Dhaka, leaves a significant gap in the team. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has expressed that replacing a player of his caliber, with his experience and skill set, is a challenging task.
