Ex-cricketer Basit Ali recently voiced his disapproval of comments made by Pakistan A team captain Mohammad Haris regarding restrictions on discussing India in the dressing room during the Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Oman. In a widely circulated video, Haris revealed that conversations about India were prohibited in the dressing room, a rule he felt added undue mental stress, especially since the team was competing against other nations as well. Basit Ali criticized Haris for his lack of discretion in public statements and clarified that such directives were not officially sanctioned by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
