Perth to Host Opening Test of 2025-26 Ashes Series

In a historic move, Perth has been chosen to host the opening Test of the 2025-26 Ashes series. This marks the first time in nearly four decades that the city will kick off the prestigious cricket series, a role that has traditionally been held by Brisbane. The highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place at Perth Stadium on November 21, 2025.

This will be the first Ashes Test held at the new Perth Stadium, following the last Ashes Test at the old WACA ground in 2017.
