The Indian contingent for the Paris Paralympics, which is set to begin on August 28, will consist of 84 athletes competing in 12 different sports. In addition to the athletes, there will be 95 officials accompanying the team, as many of the participants will require personal coaches and escorts to take care of their special needs.
Out of the 95 officials, 77 will be team officials, while the remaining nine will be contingent medical officials and another nine will be contingent officials. This makes India the country with the largest number of participants in the Paris Paralympics.
